As I stated in a previous post Hunter was to get an award at school. It is called the "Rising Star for Excellence" and we are VERY proud of him. On the award it states that Hunter is a rising star for excellent study habits, cooperation with peers, and a wonderful positive attitude. He was very embarrassed to go up and get the award, but from the pictures (which we wish we could share) he looked kinda excited and happy about it. Rikk said he had to stand up there for about 10 minutes while kids from other grades got their awards. There were only two kindergartners that got the award, and the other one was also named Hunter.
We are so proud of Hunter and the way that he has adapted to his new school. He has such a good time and LOVES to go, even though it is ALL DAY! He has made some really nice friends and has a great teacher. He goes to speech twice a week and his teacher, plus the speech teacher are VERY impressed with how far he has come since the beginning of the school year (they read his first assessment from NP).
We are proud of you Hunter and all the you have accomplished. We always knew you were a "genius" and so did you! Keep up the great work!!!

Still pregnant!
That is right, we made it past 32 weeks (I hit that last Thursday) and the babies are doing good. They got measured about at 31 weeks and we were quite surprised how big they were. Phineas weighed in at 2lbs 14oz which was bigger than the doctor thought he would be. Ferb weighed in at 3lbs 10oz which means he is right on track. My cervix is still long which is good. The doctor's new goal is 34 weeks. She says that if I do go into labor she isn't going to stop it, but that I have to prove that I really am in labor...which with the other three wasn't hard to do! Which I am happy about because then that means no magnesium this go around...YAY!!! Their doplers were a little high at 31 weeks, 1.5, but at 32 weeks they were both between 1.3-1.5 which is great. Dr. Richey said that she isn't one to just go off the doplers, she takes everything about the babies into consideration before deciding to deliver. Thank goodness they have been doing good at their breathing, heartbeats, movements and fluid or we would have had babies at 31 weeks! I have been having some cramping on and off throughout the day and night, but nothing serious. And I do show a few contractions every monitoring sessions, but RARELY ever feel those and when I do, it's VERY mild. Both the babies have been head down for the last couple weeks which hasn't been any fun for me. To urinate takes FOREVER and I seriously having to go ALL THE TIME!!! It's a lot of fun during the night! Then we found out yesterday that one was sideways which explains my not taking as much time in the bathroom...I am sure you all wanted to know that! The boys love to feel my tummy and Rikk says whenever they are at a store Walker is constantly picking things out for the twins! We have such sweet boys! I have my weekly appointment with the doctor on Friday, so we will see how things go. We are still unable to upload pics or even email them out, so we will keep trying.

Three Year Olds Logic
***I got this in an email and just had to share. I am VERY surprised we haven't come across this yet, close, but not quite!!!***
A LITTLE THREE YEAR OLD BOY IS SITTING ON THE TOILET. HIS MOTHER THINKS HE HAS BEEN IN THERE TOO LONG, SO SHE GOES IN TO SEE WHAT'S UP.
THE LITTLE BOY IS GRIPPING ON TO THE TOILET SEAT WITH HIS LEFT HAND AND HITTING HIMSELF ON TOP OF THE HEAD WITH HIS RIGHT HAND.
HIS MOTHER SAYS: "BILLY, ARE YOU ALRIGHT? YOU'VE BEEN IN HERE FOR AWHILE."
BILLY SAYS: "I'M FINE, MOMMY. I JUST HAVEN'T GONE 'POOPY' YET."
MOTHER SAYS: "OK, YOU CAN STAY HERE A FEW MORE MINUTES. BUT BILLY,WHY ARE YOU HITTING YOURSELF ON THE HEAD?"
BILLY SAYS: "WORKS FOR KETCHUP!"

Still without pictures
Not being able to upload pictures is starting to get REALLY frustrating!!! There are so many cute and funny pictures we would love to share with you all, but are unable to...hopefully soon.
Hunter brought home an announcement/invitation for school next Thursday. He is going to be honored in their assembly as a "Rising Star in Excellence". WE ARE SO PROUD OF HIM!!! He has only been there a few weeks and is getting an award for being a smarty!!! He is a littel nervous about having to go onto the stage to get it, but he'll do great! He also had "W" day today and Rikk decided he shouldn't take Walker. Oh well, Hunter took something just as cool in his eyes anway. He took the Wii game Lego Star Wars the Clone Wars. He said that since it's a Wii game he could take it eventhough the game itself doesn't start with "W". He brought home a cool lookng bunny rabbit basket made out of a milk cartoon. He thought that was pretty cool, as did the rest of us. He even was excited to share his candy with his brothers! We are so glad that he is enjoying school here, even more than NP school I think. And he hasn't complained about it being all day in quite a while. He seems to be doing really well and we are so proud of him.
Walker has been having a little bit of trouble stopping the thumb sucking...so Rikk thought he would help him along in another way than the chart and signs. He decided to buy the nail polish kind of stuff and put it all over Walker's thumbs and only told him that it would help him...leaving out the part where it is prickly feeling and hot. Walker found out on his own though and didn't like it at all. He's only sucked his thumb once today! He is also only wanting to wear two certain shirts out of all the shirts we have brought with us. We thought that if he get a couple new ones that might help...noooooo, it hasn't. Getting him to wear the new shirts is just as much of a struggle as his old shirts. Oh well, this shall pass...we hope!
Kyler has been Kyler. Into anything and everything, especially food. The other day I went upstairs to use the bathroom and he was in there using it. He had locked the door and I knocked and said, "Kyler open the door, Mommy needs to use the potty." He said, "I'll be with you in just a minute!" WHAT??? I couldn't help but laugh! That kid says something silly and grown up like that almost every day. He and Rikk just left to go get our dinner from the front gate (the ward here does two dinners a week for us) and Kyler just told me he loved me and not to be sad! And he is still my little buddy. While Rikk and the boys play the Wii upstairs Kyler sits on the couch with me coloring, reading books, snuggling or watching a show.
Last night I started having contractions again. They were about 4-5 minutes apart, so after about 20 minutes of it I took one of the pills they gave me to stop them and it worked after about 40 minutes. I haven't had any since which is nice. I had my daily monitoring today and the babies did GREAT! I dad have some little blurps show up on the contraction chart, but they said they weren't contractions, but still had to tell Dr. Richey. Dr. Richey looked at everything and said that all was alright for me to go home and just continue on the bedrest. Hopefully these babies will continue to hang on a little longer.
But that's it for us. We will continue to work on getting some pictures on here and when we do, it will be like our camera threw up all over the post!

Almost but not quite...thankfully!!!
Things here have been exciting over the last few days. I started having contractions Saturday night and had to go to the hospital. Rikk called our Bishop here and he came and helped Rikk give me a blessing. With a couple shots, a pill and a blessing my contractions stopped after about 5 hours. The babies this week have had their ups and downs in the sense that one behaves while the other one doesn't and then they switch they next day. One poor nurse had to spend my whole monitoring session one day holding the heartbeat monitors on my belly because the twins wouldn't stay in one place!
I had a check up today with my doctor and they babies look good. She thinks the twins just wanted some attention because she was gone for a week! But come to find out I am dilated to a 1, but my cervix is still long...she had to actually "check" me to find out because with the ultrasound my cervix was measuring short. She is fine with me still being at home as long as I stick to the bed rest which is great news. She thinks I will at least be able to last a couple more weeks...I just hit week 30. Mel, I am really hoping I make it longer than you do!!!
This last weekend Rikk took the boys to Bouncin' Bears again. Hunter got invited to a birthday party for a kid in his school class. They all had a great time and come home as sweaty as could be! Rikk was the hit of the party and I guess the only parent that would play with the kids. He came home the most tired I think!
He has also taken the boys to a shooting range so that they can shoot their bow. THEY LOVE IT!!! I guess Hunter is (as Rikk says) AMAZING and Walker is starting to get into it a little. Kyler is too little to shoot the bow, but has the perfect form according to Rikk. Oh, one night after the kids went to bed Rikk went shooting with his friend Drew and pulled a "Robin Hood". You know, where you shoot one arrow in the target, then shoot another arrow and it splits the first arrow in half. He came home pretty excited about that, which is cool! The boys are just as excited about that as Rikk is. Rikk has it displayed in the living room above a picture frame!
Kyler we think is finally over the double ear infections, but now he and Walker have colds. Knock on wood and cross your fingers nobody else gets it, especially Rikk or I. Hunter has been enjoying school and this week has to take something in a brown lunch bag in from around the house that starts with a W. I think he should take Walker, but Walker doesn't fit in the bag. We'll see how that goes. Last time it was an X and we had to go out and buy an X-Men action figure...I guess about 4 other kids in the class brought in one too. Who has things lying around their house that start with an X???
We have been tossing a few names around, but nothing definite yet. We kinda like Conner and Cooper. Rikk has already come up with "Cooper the Pooper" for a nickname! We haven't even thought of any middle names yet. More than likely the twins will be called for a while Phineas and Ferb, Big Baby and Little Baby, Baby A and Baby B or Donor and Recipient. Not really liking any of those, so once again I am asking for suggestions...even some for middle names.
But that is it for here. I have tried uploading pictures, but it won't let me do it from here. I guess I will just have to try at the hospital one day and see how that works. The internet is still hit or miss here, but we will try to keep everyone updated as much as we can. Thanks for everything you all have done for us.
