Baby Blessing Day (Part 1)

We were able to bless Conner and Kooper in our home on August 1st. We blessed the twins in the same outfit that the three older boys were blessed in. We had to take a little intermission inbetween blessings to chane clothes and the blanket is my baby blessing blanket that they all have used as well. We were able to have my mom, dad, grandma, grandpa uncle Kevin, and some people who we feel very close to. It was a really special day! Rikk was nervous, as he always is when giving any kind of blessing, but he gave two VERY beautiful blessings. I am so thankful that I have a husband who is a worthy priesthoof holder that can give our children and I blessings whenever we need them, anytime, day or night. I am so proud of Rikk and the man that he is. Oh, and I may be partial, but I think that these two little babies are just absolutely beautiful, just saying!

Batman and the Fair

I am sorry ladies, but I have the best, most amazing, wonderful husband EVER!!! Last week he took our three older boys to the fair ALL by himself...something that I would never do with them at this age. They had so much fun together and didn't want to leave. Rikk forgot the camera, but we took some pictures of their super hero faces when they got home. These are pics of their super hero stance.

Hunter and his "weapons"

I seriously would not want to meet Walker in a dark alley!

They all look really cute...I mean tough, really TOUGH!
But taking the boys to the fair isn't the only thing Rikk did to give him that awesome title...he also took them all from the fair to the grocery store and did ALL the grocery shopping, something that I thought I was going to do after they got home that day. What an awesome guy Rikk is, I sure got lucky!!!

Great Grandparents

Grandma and Grandpa with all our kiddos

Being stationed here in Alaska we are not only fortunate enough to be near my parents, but also my grandparents. They fly back and forth between here and Utah every three months so that they can see their other grandchildren and great grandchildren. This was the first time my grandparents got to meet Conner and Kooper, the newest great grandchildren. This is also the first time either one has ever held a twin and they thought that was pretty cool. When we get together, they LOVE to just sit and hold the babies, especially Grandma...we literally have to rip the twins from her arms when it's time to go. We think that it is so special that Grandma and Grandpa get to spend time with our kids, we can't get enough of them.
